Sock Yarn Scarves Giveaway!
If you like Siempre or any of the other designs from Knit Picks' new collection, Sock Yarn Scarves, you're in luck! I'm excited to share that Knit Picks has generously provided a print copy of the book for me to give away to one lucky reader!
This collection includes 7 beautiful scarf, cowl, and stole designs, all knit in fingering weight yarn.
Estivate, by Teresa Gregorio of Canary Knits, is my personal favorite.
The Bees and Honeybees Stole, from Stephanie Tallent at Sunset Cat Designs, is just beautiful.
The texture on the Ridgeline Trail cowl , by Angela Modzelewski, is fantastic.
The mix of lace and ribbing on the Ridge and Arrow infinity scarf, by Courtney Spainhower of Pink Brutus Knits, is so unique.
Try your hand at some unique colorwork with the Gradient Waves cowl by Hope Vickman.
Or go for a quick, lacy project with the Everlasting Cowl, by Robin Allen from A Texas Girl Knits.
(Queue up or show some love for any or all of these patterns here on Ravelry!)
But wait! There's more! To sweeten the deal, they're throwing in 2 skeins of Stroll Glimmer in Runway so you can knit your very own Siempre!
This is a great collection for fall, and will arrive right at your door, just in time for cooler weather (unless you live in Maryland; then you know that cool weather is, inexplicably, here right now. Not that I'm complaining. I'm just . . . confused.)
So, how do you enter? Just leave a comment below telling me which pattern you'll knit first (I won't hold it against you if it's not mine!). I'll keep this giveaway running until Monday, August 25, and then announce a winner by the end of the month!

I think I'd do the Everlasting cowl first. But I'd have Siempre on my list for sure :)
Looks like following your blog was a very good decision. :) Since colorwork has been my "thing" lately, I'd do the gradient waves first. All of the patterns are lovely! Thanks for the giveaway!
Sarah
Gradient wave. I haven't done much color work, it looks like a good one to try!
There are so many beautiful designs, and such a nice variety. I think I would want to start with Bees and Honeybees.
Ridge and Arrow is so cute! I'd knit that one. :)
I do love cowls, so Everlasting Cowl would be my first knit.
I would love to knit THE BEES AND HONEYBEES STOLE. I love the design and colorway. I would make all of them. All of the patters are great.
I'm just fascinated by the Ridgeline Trail Cowl. Simple and classic, and a wonderful gift for sister, I"m thinking?
Love Siempre! Can't be beat, but I'm also tempted by the diametrically opposed style of Ridgeline Trail.
Estivate is very cool.
Bees and honeybees for me!
Wahoomerryf on Ravelry
It may be the color, but the Everlasting Cowl looks amazing and would be first on my needles.
It would be such a hard choice! I think Estivate first, but that might be because that green has captivated me! ;)
I think I'd do the Bees and Honeybees Stole first! They're all so beautiful though, it's hard to decide!
The Everlasting Cowl would be perfect for my daughter.
Siempre is just gorgeous! I would probably have that one on the queue first followed by the Everlasting Cowl.
Bees and honeybees!!
I would knit the Bees And Honeybees Stole first.
I think Everlastong Cowl would be the first project I would undertake.
Bees and Honeybees
Bees and Honeybees for me, so lovely!
Bees and honeybees!
Gradient Waves. I like a challenge.
I like Gradient Waves
Loved them all, but the Everlasting cowl is calling out some of the many many skeins of fingering weight yarn I seem to have collected along the way.
I like the Gradient waves but then it was hard to pick just one item that I liked most.
From GinaC. (mad4plaid...Rav) Love cowls; love them all...would like to start off with the colour work of Gradient Waves.
I really like the Everlasting Cowl. It looks to be just the right amount of challenge for me.
ridge and arrow first, but all of them for sure
How does one choose? They are all so lovely! I think I would do the ridge & arrows first, followed by your beautiful Estivate. Thank you so much....Heather

Definitely Siempre, but I adore all the designs in this book! I'd love to win :) (jmj697mn@yahoo.com and jmj697mn on Rav and twitter)
It's a tie which I'd knit first, your Siempre or the Bees and Honeybees scarf. Guess it would depend on if I was in a cable or a lace mood when it came time to cast on.
They are ALL such great knits, but I was drawn to the Ridge and Arrow first! Thanks for the chance to win this great giveaway!
I'm torn between Siempre and Bees and Honeybees. I love them both!
Ridge and Arrow - my daughter would love it :)
I love the Everlasting cowl, but it's so hard to choose.
There are many I would eventually get to (WILL eventually get to), but I think Bees and Honeybees would be my very first.
I think the Everlasting cowl would be at the top of the list. I have stash that would look great. But that is a tough choice! I think I would end up making most of them.
Ridge and Arrow for me! :)
I'd probably try the Ridge & Arrow first, but really love them all!
Love them all, but Bees and Honeybees first for me then I would work my way through the rest. I am Twofishknitting on Ravelry xx
I would knit the Ridge and Arrow infinity scarf first.
We,, I've been working on lace most recently, and did my first color work this last year. Now would seem to be the time to try my hand at cables... So Siempre it is! (Especially if I win the yarn to go with it!)
Which first? Oh, choices choices! but Bees and Honeybees got me. I've been stung. lol They're all beautiful
I would without a moments hestiation dive upon "The Bees and the HoneyBees Stole" Just to experience that lovely stitch pattern in glorious repetition and Did I mention I love Yellow?
That patterns sings to me!!
Karla
They are all pretty can't decide
Depending on which yarn I'd fallen in love with most recently, I'm inclined to Bees & Honeybees.
So many beautiful designs! I think I would start with Ridge and Arrow or Everlasting Cowl.
I'd start with bees and honeybees, but that would just the first of the beautiful patterns to knit.
I'm into really quick projects right now. The one I like the most is the Everlasting Cowl. I would definitely knit more than one of the designs in this book. they look amazing!
Definitely estivate - I just faved it on Ravelry!
Bees and honeybees. Really pretty.
Bees and honeybees. They are all great
I LOVE the Bees and Honeybees stole!
Siempre first because I'd already have the yarn on hand, but next I'd probably cast on Ridgeline Trail and Gradient Waves at the same time!
Bees and Honeybees for sure! This is such a great idea because I always find really awesome fingering weight yarn, but never have a scarf or cowl pattern to use it with! This solves that dilemma!
Definitely the Siempra, I am in love with it!
Bees and honeybees. So pretty!
I'd start with Estivate!
I'm loving Siempre. That's first on my list.
I'd knit the Everlasting Cowl first. It is beautiful!
Definitely Estivate!
It's a tie between Siempre and Bees and honeybees. Love them both!
I think I would start with Siempre.
Gradient wave- haven't done any colorwork for awhile!
Bees and Honeybees Stole, most definitely! <3
Ridge line Trail Cowl. 1lcooke1@gmail.com
I would love to make Bees and Honeybees Stole.
I would love to try colorwork. Gradient Waves would be my first.
Bees and Honeybees! They are all gorgeous!
Bees and Honeybees! So many beautiful choices!

It's a tough choice but I think I'd knit bees n honey first!
Ridge and Arrow infinity scarf is what I'd try first. They are all beautiful!
Tough choice! I like them all! Maybe the Everlasting cowl first.
Bees and honeybees first but I would probably end up doing all of them !
Love Bees and Honeybees...!
Definitely Estivate- such a unique design!
I love Estivate! That's what I would knit first, but they are all beautiful patterns!
The Bees and Honeybees Stole is cute! I would totally cast that one on first.
I searched all of them but the Bees and Honeybees kept drawing my eyes and my Great collection in the book! Worth making all of them.
I'm not sucking-up but I do like the Siempre pattern!
I'd do Bees and Honeys - looks lovely and would keep my neck warm!
I would start with the Ridgeline Trail cowl.
I'm all about the Bees and Honeybees!
Bees and Honeybees is beautiful!
Bees and honeybees for me! But all are lovely.
Love Siempre! Would knit that first
Bees and honeybees!
Everlasting! :)
Everlasting cowl
I cannot imagine a better project to work on while Im at the beach. I have been thinking of what to work on and like magic your post appears. The Gradient Waves Cowl is calling my name. I absolutely love this pattern and would love to make it and quickly because yes I live in Maryland and you know the saying. "Wait 10 minutes and the season will change".
All so beautiful, but I would do Ridge & Arrow first.
Sooo many beautiful designs! I'd start with the Bees and Honeybees and keep on going :)
Gradient Waves looks very very tempting! I would knit it first for sure...but the rest would follow as they would make perfect gifts for Christmas this year :-)
The Ridge and Arrow Lace infinity scarf would be first on my list. Thanks for showing highlights of this book.
I would love to knit the Everlasting Cowl.
Oh, I love infinity scarves, so Siempre would definitely be the top of my list of these. But they're all gorgeous and would be knit in fairly rapid succession, I think!
I would totally knit the Bees and Honeybees Stole. Too cute.
Everlasting Cowl would be first up, but they're all lovely!
I'd either knit Siempre, Everlasting Cowl, or Estivate first, but... I can't decide! I love them all.
I would do the Everlasting Cowl first. It is gorgeous
I'd start with the Bees and Honeybees Stole --- it looks so cheerful!
I would start with Bees and Honeybees, as my dad keeps bees and my mom makes candles with the wax. The honey is delicious.
I would knit the Everlasting Cowl first but I think that I would make it longer so that it could be doubled around the neck. Actually I like all of the designs and had a very difficult time deciding which one I would knit 1st!
The Ridgeline Trail Cowl
I would do the Ribs and Arrows Infinity Cowl.
I'd probably make the Bees and Honeybees Stole first, but I'd probably eventually make all of them. Sometimes a light but warm scarf/stole/cowl is exactly the right thing!
Love the Everlasting Cowl!
I would do Bees and Honeybees! :)
I love the Ridgeline Trail Cowl. Actually, there are several others too. This book will be on my wish list.
I'd been eyeing up the Estivate!! But I'd be so happy to work on any of them :)
Thanks for the chance to win!
Ridge and Arrow for sure.
I think I'd do Everlasting first, but it's a hard choice. Lovely!
Bees and honeybees is my favorite! So pretty!
Love Honeybees. Not sure how it would go in that pink, but I'll be happy to test it out for them :)
All of them were beautiful but the first one I'd try is Estivate.
I've been itching for some colorwork, so I'd probably start with Gradient Waves.
Oh my I love them all! But Siempre would be my first to knit. A great collection!
I'm enamored with the Bees and Honeybees Cowl. Siempre is definitely my style as well.
I think I would knit the Bees and Honeybees Stole first.
The Bees and Honeybees is just so lovely, I definitely have to knit it first.
Beautiful collection. I think I'd start with Bees and Honeybees
I already had a pattern picked out for some sock yarn, but "Ridge and Arrow" may beat out that initial idea.
Definitely Bees and Honeybees. It's gorgeous.
I would start with ridge line but they are all lovely!
This is very hard to pick a favorite from these. I am torn between Estivate and the Everlasting Cowl
I'd love to knit the everlasting cowl.
Bees and honeybees would probably be my first project. They're all lovely though.
I really like Siempre! I would probably make them all eventually!
I would like to knit the Siempre
I'm torn between Gradient Waves Cowl and the Siempre Cowl
